What You'll Learn and Practice

Through the Train the Trainer pathway, you will:

  • Deepen your relational leadership and emotional regulation skills

  • Build your capacity to facilitate and teach the CSS Framework with integrity

  • Practice the Four Necessary Conditions, Four Protocols, and Four Perspectives

  • Learn how to hold emotional safety in learning spaces

  • Cultivate systems change through relational governance and Indigenous-informed leadership practices

This is not checkbox training. This is a lifelong relational practice.

Program Options and Pricing

You can earn your Certified CSS Facilitator credential through two options:

  1. CSS Train the Trainer eCourse (coming Summer 2026)

    Online, self-paced modules + mentorship and live support

    $4,000 CAD

  2. CSS Train the Trainer In-Person Intensive

Full-day relational training in Penticton, BC + pre- and post-engagement

$4,250 CAD

Both pathways include:

  • Access to the Train the Trainer learning platform (Level 1–3)

  • Live community gatherings and practice sessions

  • Certification upon successful completion

  • Ongoing relational mentorship and support


The Certification Pathway

Level 1: Foundations

Learn and embody the CSS Framework. Facilitate introductory workshops rooted in relational leadership and emotional safety.

Level 2: Advanced Applications

Customize CSS teachings for different sectors (education, governance, health, corporate, nonprofit). Lead relational strategy sessions.

Level 3: Master Facilitator

Mentor new facilitators, engage in curriculum evolution, support systemic leadership change at scale.

Participants must work intentionally to embody relational practices before advancing to each level.

Pre-Requisites and Expectations

Before beginning CSS Train the Trainer:

  • Complete the Introduction to CSS eCourse (required)

  • Engage in pre-course reflection and preparation exercises (self-paced)

  • Commit to practicing relational leadership personally and professionally

  • Understand that certification is about embodiment, not performance

Join us for a transformative and immersive learning experience in beautiful Penticton, BC. The 1-Day Intensive Cultivating Safe Spaces Train the Trainer is specifically designed for passionate leaders, facilitators, educators, and changemakers who are ready to deepen their skills, strengthen their facilitation practice, and become certified Cultivating Safe Spaces (CSS) Facilitators.

This intensive, in-person training offers you hands-on practice, personalized mentorship, and meaningful connections within a supportive community. Learn directly from CSS Founder Elaine Alec, as you begin to master the CSS Framework's Four Necessary Conditions, Four Protocols, and Four Perspectives.

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of an Intro to CSS Course, OR

  • Completion of the Kajabi Intro to CSS eCourse

Spaces are limited to 30 participants to ensure an intimate, impactful experience. Participants will leave equipped to facilitate the 5-hour Intro CSS workshop, fostering transformative spaces rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and trauma-informed practices.

Expectations:

  • Pre-work: Participants will receive a CSS Framework Guide to study prior to attending, ensuring a shared foundation and enabling a deeper dive into practical facilitation during the event.
