Shawna specializes in education, municipal, recreation, community health and social services training. As a facilitator, she brings the perspective and expertise as the mother of three extraordinary children, an educator, systems thinker, researcher, community designer, and writer. Shawna’s experience in education, child development, outdoor play, health and community development shapes her approach to cultivating safe spaces. Workshops, designing learning spaces and systems planning focus on creating inclusive spaces that build on concepts of reciprocity, accessibility, compassion and curiosity. With more than 20 years of experience in education and community health, professional development training, curriculum development and writing Shawna focuses on transforming how we think and interact in our environments.
