Janet is a settler woman located in the ancestral, traditional, unceded territory of the Algonquin and Anishinaabe peoples, Ottawa, Ontario. She is a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, mother, aunt, grandmother, mentor and connector.

As a Certified Cultivating Safe Spaces facilitator, Janet’s work supports meaning making and relationship building. Her work calls on the three centres of body intelligence (head, heart and gut) in various ways and provide for holistic development and awakening to one’s innate leadership.

Janet is a Fellow CPA, is Certified as an Integral Professional Coach, a Climate Change Coach, a Trauma Informed Coach and is Bereavement Facilitator. She is a practitioner in Circle Practice. Each of these offer a perspective and together hold space and meaning for diversity in perspective.

As a former Executive with the Federal Government Public Service, with over 30+ years of bilingual Leadership Management, she brings her experience in corporate, policy and program initiatives, including engagement in terms and conditions, community infrastructure and community planning. Much of her work has been in the sustainability field. Janet is a Climate Reality Leader and a country Ambassador for She Changes Climate.

Janet’s self care includes avid walking, spending time with her grandchildren and her two dogs and whenever she can get away, retreats to her cabin in the rural area of Elphin, Ontario.
